To unlock the vast awareness within us, a few basic approaches to our moment-to-moment focus is advisable. This begins with paying attention to our thoughts in order to get a handle on our behavior BEFORE we react. This slowing down of our reaction time is a mental discipline that serves us to reclaim our power and responsibility over our actions, and really helps us to bring our lives more fully into our own conscious awareness. In this way we can make decisions which are in alignment with our conscious thoughts to remain heart-centered, calm, and love-based, rather than fear-based.
